C&C SOCIAL MEDIA GROUP PAGES

1. Identity & Profile Transparency

To discourage the anonymity that fuels scammers, all contractors must post using their authentic identity, especially if they are posting promotional content.

Business Identification: If a contractor is an actual company or corporate entity, such must clearly identify their business name. Otherwise, those who operate as an individual must use their real name. Understandably, it is completely legel to do business with a "fictitious name" such as "Bob's Construction" or "Loving Pet Walker" and still be an individual and that's fine, just be honest and register the information. Profiles deemed "fake" or "anonymous" will be removed and banned.

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

2. Eligibility & Verification

Registration Required: Only contractors currently registered with the C&C Network are permitted to post promotional information. The information to register is n more than the information any typical business card, except that we ask to know what screen name you use when posting. (That's how we know not to delete the post.)

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

3. Promotional Frequency & Content

Frequency: To ensure a fair marketplace without unwanted clutter, contractors are limited to one (1) promotional post per day per group page, but interesting posts showing unique projects in progress are welcomed with far greater latitude. However, repeatedly posting the same tired display add, every day, it considered spam (unwanted content). A static display add once per week is reasonable, but daily content posted should show some sort of uniqueness quality.

Content: Posts must be relevant. We encourage photos and videos of actual work with some narrative context

Prohibited Content: Political commentary, profanity, or non-industry related spam is strictly prohibited.

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

4. Lead Integrity & Messaging

Honest Representation: Misrepresenting one’s ability, tools, or manpower to complete a job is a violation of policy.

Thread Conduct: When a customer makes an public inquiry directed to a specific contractor, the contractor can respond exclusively within 24 hours. "Hijacking" another contractor’s thread or engaging in "shouting matches" is not permitted. However, if the subject contractor fails to respond in a timely manner the inquiry becomes a public inquiry.

Direct Messaging: Private messaging customers without an explicit invitation or public request to do so is prohibited. If a customer provides a screen shot to us with their complaint the contractor will be banned from the Group Page for a period of time, depending upon severity of the intent. An unregistered contractor, especially one who has no history of making any public posts on the group, will likely be banned permanently from the group page for violating this policy.

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

5. Zero-Tolerance Conduct

The C&C Network maintains a professional environment. The following are strictly prohibited:

Disparaging comments and rudeness.

Interfring with adminisrators moderators.

Posting any information intended to be private.

Encouraging other to violate policy.

Posting off-platform links.

Blind Recommendations .

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

6. Reporting & Complaints

Private Channels: We encourage the community to alert admins to "sketchy" activity. All complaints must be privately submitted through non-public channels to avoid public "witch hunts." Direct messages can be sent to administrators or an email can be sent to Support@ContractorsAndCustomers.net.

Escalation: Reporting group activity to primary platform authorities, without first attempting to resolve the issue with a group admin will likely result in being permanently banned as such may potentially expose the entire group to an unfair disruption.

Actionable Evidence: When a complaint is received with documented evidence, C&C reserves the right to act immediately with no obligation of notice to the offending party.

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

7. Compliance & Removal

The C&C Network reserves the right to remove any post or member that violates these provisions or undermines the integrity of the group. Members may opt-out and request removal from our directory and social groups at any time by emailing us from their registered email address.

Effective or Revised: 3/3/2026

Our social media pages are a very small part of what we do. The groups are managed by administrators and moderators who are voluntary network members. Being a member of any of our social media groups is free, but the group, and how it is managed, is a public image to be protected. So, all group members must abide by the policies. If you want to issue a complaint, make a suggestion or ask questions please send us an email from the email address you have registered with us Support@ContractorsAndCustomers.net If you are not registered, you need to do that first.

Group Page Policies, Terms & Conditions

Mission Statement

The Customers and Contractors (C&C) Network was founded in November 2017 to eliminate the "noise" of traditional social media and provide a dedicated space for homeowners and service providers to interact. We are committed to higher standards than traditional "pay-to-play" lead sites. Our goal is to protect consumers from scammers and unqualified labor while providing honest contractors and sole-operating service providers with a scam-free platform to grow.

To maintain professional standards and group integrity, all Group Page Administrators shall adhere to the following enforcement protocols:

1. Public Conduct & Neutrality

Administrators are strictly prohibited from publicly reprimanding any member on a public thread. All enforcement actions must remain private to maintain the professional atmosphere of the Customers and Contractors (C&C) Network.

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

2. Review & Compliance Markers

The "Like" Protocol: Every “POST” reviewed and found to be in compliance must be marked with a "Like" from a group admin. This serves as a internal marker that the content has been vetted against current Group Policies.

3. Removal & Private Notification

If a post or comment is found to be in violation, it must be removed immediately. The author is notified privately via the following Templated Violation Notice:

"A post of yours has been removed for a policy violation. Please review our published Group Page Policy. [Attach Screenshot]"

Documentation: Before any content is deleted, the administrator must capture a screenshot of the violation for record-keeping and member notification.

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

4. Daily Thread Audits

Administrators shall conduct a comprehensive thread check daily. This includes a review of all new posts, comments, and replies.

Documentation: Before any content is deleted, the administrator must capture a screenshot of the violation for record-keeping and member notification.

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

5. Transparency Reporting

Upon completion of the daily audit, the administrator will publish a general status post to the group to maintain transparency (with comments disabled).

Example: "Today [X] content items were removed for policy violations. Thank you for keeping our network professional."

Administrative Procedural Policy

We extend our sincere gratitude to those who volunteer to moderate on our Group Pages and we try to outline procedures in a manner that will avoid drawing our moderators into any type of dispute. All members should, from time to time, thank an administrator for working hard and maintaining the integrity of our group.
